With the support of ICYF-ERC and the organization of "Əmanət" initiative, a special event was held on the occasion of Novruz and Holy Ramadan.

The event took place around an iftar dinner, bringing together children of martyrs and veterans, as well as their families. An engaging entertainment program was organized for the children featuring traditional characters such as "kosa", "kechal", and "bahar girl". In addition, creative activities in the art of "ebru" were conducted, allowing children to create their own artworks.

Artıq 15 ildir ki, Azərbaycanda hər il keçirilən "İslam Əməkdaşlıq Təşkilatı (İƏT) Modeli Beynəlxalq Münasibətlər Akademiyası" layihəsinin bağlanış mərasimi olub.

Gənclər və İdman Nazirliyi, Bakı Dövlət Universiteti (BDU) və İslam Əməkdaşlıq Təşkilatı Gənclər Forumunun Avrasiya Regional Mərkəzinin (İƏGF Avrasiya Regional Mərkəzi) birgə tərəfdaşlığı ilə həyata keçirilən layihədə iştirak etmək üçün 15-dən artıq aparıcı ali təhsil müəssisəsini təmsil edən 600-dən çox gənc müraciət edib. Müraciətçilər arasından mövzuya uyğun bilikləri və xarici dil bacarıqları ilə fərqlənən 100 nəfər gənc seçilib.

The closing ceremony of the "Model Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) International Relations Academy" project, which has been held annually in Azerbaijan for the past 15 years, has taken place.

To participate in the project, which is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku State University, and the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum Eurasia Regional Center, more than 600 young people representing over 15 leading higher education institutions applied. Among the applicants, 100 young participants who stood out for their knowledge relevant to the topic and their foreign language skills were selected.

On 6 March, following the networking meeting with students from OIC member states studying in Azerbaijan, participants gathered for a Ramadan Iftar dinner, bringing everyone together in the spirit of unity and solidarity.

The program also featured a lecture on “The Role of Muslim Youth for Solidarity”, followed by an interactive Q&A session.

With the participation of the ICYF-ERC leadership and government officials, the topic was discussed and participants exchanged views on strengthening unity and cooperation among Muslim youth.

The Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum Eurasian Regional Center (ICYF-ERC) hosted a networking gathering that brought together students from the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation studying in Azerbaijan.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Rasim Mammadov, Head of Unit at Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Muzhdat Hasanov, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the leadership of ICYF-ERC.

The event began with opening remarks by Mr. Elchin Asgarov, Chair of the Board of ICYF-ERC. This was followed by an introduction and networking session, during which participants had the opportunity to introduce themselves and take part in an interactive ice-breaker activity.

The program also featured a presentation on the work and initiatives of ICYF-ERC and the OIC Students Association, including proposals related to the establishment of an organizing committee of the Association, opportunities for membership within the OIC Student Network, and the presentation of the International Youth AI Competition alongside the official launch of the call for applications.

During the meeting, it was also announced that steps are planned to establish the Azerbaijan OIC Students Association, which will serve as a platform to strengthen cooperation, networking, and joint initiatives among students from OIC member states studying in Azerbaijan.
