On 17 July 2024, the representatives of the ICYF-ERC were received by H.E. Mr. Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Republic of #Uzbekistan to the Republic of #Azerbaijan.
During the meeting at the Embassy of Uzbekistan to Baku, the representatives briefed H.E. Mr. Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov on the activities of ICYF, in particular its Eurasian Regional Center aimed at providing the necessary opportunities for the development of #youth and capacity building as well as enhancing cooperation and #solidarity among the youth of the #OIC Member States. In recognition of their participation in the Global Youth Festival held in Uzbekistan, Director General of the ICYF-ERC expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Uzbek government, underscoring the importance of such events in building bridges between different cultures and enhancing mutual understanding among young people globally.
In his turn, H.E. the Ambassador shared insights on various matters relating to the youth development and discussed the current activities and perspectives for collaboration to increase the participation of youth both, on local and international levels.
