National edition for Azerbaijani students of the Model OIC International Relations Academy 2020 project conducted by the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan finalized its work on 5 June 2020.
Model OIC Online Simulation Conference of Foreign Affairs Ministers was held on 5 June 2020 with participation of 60 successful youth selected from the participants of the Academy.
The Opening of the online Conference hosted Mr. Elchin Askerov, Chair of the Board of ICYF-ERC, Mr. Intigam Babayev, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Elmaddin Mehdiyev, Director General of ICYF-ERC and Mr. Rustam Abdullayev, Senior Consultant at the Department for Work with Youth of the Ministry.
The participants of the national edition of the Model OIC in the role of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States discussed “Future of Afghanistan: major threats and prospects for peace” and adopted the relevant resolutions at the end.
