A working meeting focused to discuss the vision and planned activities of the Project Office of International Youth Cooperation “Russia – Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)” as well as opportunities for mutual cooperation with the ICYF and its Eurasian Regional Center (ICYF-ERC) towards the successful realization of the aims and goals of the Project Office was held in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan, on the sidelines of the 6th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum.
The meeting hosted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan was attended by Mr. Taha Ayhan, President of ICYF, Mr. Rasul Omarov, Director General of ICYF, and the Director General of ICYF-ERC Mr. Elmaddin Mehdiyev. The hosting side was represented by Mr. Alexander Bugaev, Head of the Federal Agency on Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr. Damir Fattakhov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF), Mr. Konstantin Kolpakov, Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr. Timur Suleymanov, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan and Ms. Aygul Gabdrakhmanova, Director of Selet Youth Movement of Tatarstan and Board Member of ICYF-ERC.
The Project Office of International Youth Cooperation “Russia – Organization of Islamic Cooperation” was established upon the joint initiative of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF). The relevant document on the establishment was signed by Head of Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Mr. Alexander Bugaev and Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF) Mr. Damir Fattakhov on the sidelines of the 6th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum Demo Day held in Kazan, on 1 December 2020.
