On November 9 2021, Eurasian Regional Center of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC) hosted a networking breakfast for 25 International Students from 15 OIC member states. The main purpose was to give the opportunity to the OIC member state students living and studying in Azerbaijan to get more engaged in the activities of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and its Eurasian Regional Center.
Shortly after the breakfast, students were gathered in a conference hall where Mr. Vusal Gurbanov, Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC, welcomed the youth and highlighted the importance of such meeting since it gathers us, as brothers and sisters under the same OIC umbrella. Next, the students listened to the presentation about the organization’s activities and initiatives provided by the ICYF-ERC staff member. As part of the networking event, teambuilding game was initiated to let students improve communication and collaboration between one another.
The next phase of the event took place at the Victory Fair located in Baku Boulevard, where students were taken round to see the military vehicles, equipment, medical emergency tents, etc.
Finally, Mr. Vusal Gurbanov and the staff of ICYF-ERC thanked international students for answering to the calls of ICYF-ERC, as well as the organizer of the fair, Yashat Foundation and journalists from different media houses for taking interviews with international students. The students equally showed their appreciation to the ICYF-ERC for such initiative and interest in the active participation in its future projects.
