On November 20, 2021, Central Asian Youth Entrepreneurship Training Program organized by the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC), in partnership with Youth Wing MK “Jas Otan” under the Nur Otan Party of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center of Uzbekistan, started with the webinar on the topic of “Young Entrepreneurship”.
The webinar started its work with the greeting remarks delivered by Ms. Aydan Baghirli, assistant to Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC, and Mr. Nurzhan Zhetpisbayev, Chairman of Youth Wing MK “Jas Otan” under the Nur Otan Party of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Ms. Baghirli mentioned the projects implemented by ICYF-ERC supporting start-ups and young entrepreneurs and highlighted the importance of regional cooperation for helping youth to overcome challenges of the entrepreneurial life. Mr. Zhetpisbayev thanked ICYF-ERC for continuous initiatives in the fields of youth policy and development of youth entrepreneurship by improving modern entrepreneurial skills and growth of the potential of the youth of Central Asia. He also added that the Program can facilitate creation of new acquaintances, relations and cooperation between Central Asian countries in the framework of our organizations. The both parties wished best of luck to the participants and trainers of the program.
In the first webinar there were three invited speakers, who are experts and trainers in the field of young entrepreneurship. Ms. Farida Asgarzada, Young Entrepreneur, Business Consultant and Mentor, shared the programs helpful for young entrepreneurs, discussed her understanding of young entrepreneurship, as well as motivated the youth to participate and represent their countries in those platforms. Mr. Orian-Mehroj Rashidov, Director of Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center of Uzbekistan, introduced the participants with more practical part for launching a project and demonstrated online platforms for managing tasks, financing, and teams. Mr. Shaig Garibzade, CEO of Azeri Express, talked about his entrepreneurial experience through success and failure stories, pointed out tips and steps needed before starting any entrepreneurial activity.
After each speakers’ training, questions and interaction sessions were held, where participants shared their start-up ideas and received feedback from the trainers. The Program will continue its work until 20 December 2021.
