The Eurasian Regional Center of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC) is pleased to announce the “Islamic Cultural Heritage” Tour within the framework of “Model OIC: International Relations Academy 2022”, organized by ICYF-ERC in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The tour will be held on May 1 with the participation of the participants of the Academy.
The tour will comprise of visits to ancient sacred monuments of Baku Old City “Icherisheher” and Bibiheybat Mosque and Shrıne Complex with the participation of professional guides.
The tour will be one of its kind, in educating the significance of Islamic history preserved in Azerbaijan. It aims to provide the young students an interactive approach to learn more about the heritage sites that connect cultural roots to contemporary art in the modern-day Azerbaijan. Islam is recognized as an essential part of our independent national identity, so we take this opportunity to enlighten the participants about the centuries old Islamic and cultural elements present in the capital city of Baku.
