On June 14, the opening ceremony of the Model OIC, organized by the Academy of Youth Diplomacy, Youth Social Fund “Selet”, and Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC), was held in Youth Center “Selet” (Kazan, Tatarstan).
The event took place in hybrid format with the participation of 50 young people.
On the first day of Model OIC, participants familiarized themselves with the rules and procedures of the model and engaged in networking activities. On the second day, the youth got acquainted with the work of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held discussions on specific topics, and had training sessions on public speaking, diplomacy, and international relations.
The Model OIC is oriented towards the rapprochement of youth, study and exchange of cultures, search and address the solutions for suggested matters, and formation of committees on various issues.
