Model OIC IR Academy 2022 started in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic

The “Model OIC International Relations Academy 2022” project organized by the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyz Republic, United Youth Organization (UYO), Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan, and Active Volunteers has started its work in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, on June 29, 2022.

This project is a comprehensive and excellent model towards quality youth leadership, balanced education, and proper training, also an initiative to train students to be able to explain and elaborate on the basic theoretical and practical aspects of diplomacy and the system of OIC. The Academy is aimed at presenting participants an opportunity to engage in the real-time working of International Relations within the diplomatic sphere as well as discuss important topics on the agenda of OIC.

It should be noted that around 100 young people were selected to participate in the Model of OIC International Relations Academy. During seminars and trainings, they will discuss specific topics on education, economy, policy, culture, and technology in respective committees (ICESCO, OIC CFM, Islamic Commission for Economic Affairs, Islamic Foundation for Science, Technology, and Development).

This year, the “Model OIC International Relations Academy 2022” project has successfully finished it work in Azerbaijan and Tatarstan, and it is currently being carried out in parallel in Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and Indonesia.
