On July 2, 2022, the opening ceremony of the Model OIC 2022 simulation conference, organized by the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the United Youth Organization, the Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan and the Active Volunteers was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
The conference was officially opened by the Chairman of the Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan Askar Shaikidinov. The speakers of the conference were Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration Aidarbekov Chingiz Azamatovich and Deputy of the Supreme Council Surabaldieva Elvira, who made presentations on international relations and answered questions of interest to the delegates. One of the distinguished guests of the conference was Tagi Rastmian, Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kyrgyzstan, Head of the Department of Culture, who wished success to the participants of the event.
Further, the Project Manager of ICYF-ERC Mr. Said Omanov, welcoming all the participants on behalf of Mr. Vusal Gurbanov, Acting General Director of ICYF-ERC, presented to the delegates a presentation on the activities and projects of the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC). Also, a welcome video was presented on behalf of the President of the ICYF, H.E. Mr. Taha Ayhan.
During the conference, 85 delegates in the relevant committees discussed current topics on the OIC agenda on economic, cultural, political, scientific and technological issues.
The distinguished delegates of the conference were given prizes and diplomas. All participants of the Model OIC 2022 received certificates of participation.
