On December 15, 2022, the Chair of the Board of ICYF-ERC Mr. Elchin Asgarov attended the OIC Youth Leaders Award Ceremony in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan (RF).
The talented youth all over the OIC geography from various fields like research, sports, social entrepreneurship, photography, art, and diplomacy were awarded in recognition of their outstanding work. During the event, Mr. Asgarov delivered congratulatory speech on the occasion of Closing of the Kazan OIC Youth Capital 2022 and awarded the winners of the Young Researcher of the Year nomination – Doctor of Chemistry Souley Kallo Moutari (Republic of Niger) and Doctor of Social Sciences Tuba Erkoç Baydar (Republic of Türkiye).
Within the framework of his visit to Kazan, Mr. Asgarov also presented the Plaques of Appreciation to H.E. Mr. Timur Suleymanov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Ms. Aygul Gabdrakhmanov, Chairwoman of Selet Youth Organization of Tatarstan, for their tireless efforts for empowerment of OIC youth.
