The International Board and whole staff of the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) highly appreciate the subsequent efforts of Muslim youth to support the ICYF-ERC’s statement calling to organize the participation of a team of young ecologists from the Eurasian region in support of environmental volunteers of Azerbaijan.
Regarding artificial obstacles to the efforts of Azerbaijani conservationists, the Model of Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Pakistan calls to facilitate the creation of friendly conditions so that ecologists, environmentalists, and volunteers can easily monitor mines that damage the environment and further demands that conditions that hinder their work in region and beyond be made more accessible.
The alumni of the “International Model OIC” clubs demand that environmental activists from Azerbaijan be protected while in the Gyzylbulag gold deposit, the Damirli copper molybdenum deposit, and other deposits to investigate the illegal extraction of natural resources in the territories temporarily out of control of the Republic of Azerbaijan. They join the legitimate voice of the Azerbaijani nation in this demand.
