On February 18-19, 2023, the Model OIC simulation conference, organized with the support of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC), and Uzbekistan Students Association, was held at Bukhara State University, Republic of Uzbekistan.

 

The conference was officially opened by Mr. Vusal Gurbanov, Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC. Mr. Gurbanov welcomed all the participants and informed the youth about the main activities and projects of Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC). Further, Mr. Tulkin Khusenovich, Vice-rector of the Scientific Department of Bukhara State University, delivered a speech and wished success to the participants of the event.

 

During the conference, the delegate representing Azerbaijan in the cultural committee spoke about the reconstruction works carried out in historical and cultural monuments of the territories freed from occupation. In his speech, he spoke about the damage caused to the heritage of the Karabakh region by the armed forces of Armenia.

 

At the closing ceremony, Ms. Kamila Saidova, MOIC Uzbekistan Secretary General, congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the conference. The distinguished delegates of the conference were given prizes and diplomas. All participants of the Model OIC 2023 received certificates of participation.

 

At the end of the event, the youth participated in the cultural program to experience Uzbekistan national dishes and dances.
