CALL FOR APPLICATIONS TO MOIC 2026 IS NOW OPEN!
In collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Baku State University, and with the technical support of the BSU Volunteers Organization, the Eurasian Regional Center of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC) announces the start of registration for the “Model OIC Academy – 2026” project.
Successful applicants will attend weekly lectures delivered by civil servants, representatives of Diplomatic missions accredited to the Republic of Azerbaijan, and subject-matter experts over the 3-month project. This will help them improve their knowledge and skills in the field of diplomacy and international relations.
Eligibility:
- If you are between 18 and 29 years old;
- If you are interested in diplomacy and international relations;
- If you are interested in learning about the OIC and the work of its structures;
Understanding and knowledge of the Azerbaijani language (for foreign participants); - If you have a good and/or excellent command of the English language (any other language of the OIC is an additional plus)
Then, this project is a golden opportunity to enhance your expertise in international relations, diplomacy, and foreign affairs. Focused lectures, hands-on workshops, and direct interaction with seasoned diplomats and professionals will provide practical insights into effective negotiation, cross-cultural communication, and the dynamics of cooperation within the OIC.
At the end of the International Relations Academy, nominated participants will have a chance to apply the practical knowledge and acquired skills by representing a designated country at the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers Simulation Conference, in accordance with diplomatic etiquette.
