Capture. Inspire. Protect. The Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC) invites you to participate in the “My Green Country” Photography Competition – a unique opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of your homeland and express your support for COP29.
About the Competition: This is more than just a photography contest – it’s your chance to make a difference. We’re calling on young photographers from OIC member countries to capture the rich landscapes, vibrant wildlife, and unique natural wonders of the Islamic world. Use your photos to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and contribute to a global vision of a sustainable, green future.
What We’re Looking For:
- Natural Beauty: Capture awe-inspiring scenes of mountains, forests, wildlife, sunsets, and so on.
- Environmental Challenges: Showcase the issues facing our ecosystems, such as pollution or deforestation.
- Stewardship: Inspire others to cherish and protect our environment for generations to come.
Competition Details:
- Organizer: ICYF-ERC
- Eligibility: Youth aged 18-29 from OIC member states, professional and amateur photographers
- Language: English
- Format: Digital
- Dates: 21 August – 10 September
- Accepted Formats: Photos taken with both professional cameras and mobile phones. Please ensure your photos are submitted in HD quality.
How to Apply:
- Submission: Email your HD photos to [email protected]. Use the subject line “My Green Country” and include your name, surname, country, social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, and others), and mobile phone number in the body of the email.
- Judging: Our panel of experts, and the members of the Governing Bodies of the ICYF-ERC will select the top 10 photos.
Prizes & Recognition:
- Prizes: $100 for each winner
- Certificates: Official certificates from the ICYF-ERC.
- Networking: Join an exclusive online meeting with fellow artists and environmental experts at the end of the competition.
- Announcement: Winning photos will be announced by the end of September through ICYF-ERC’s social media and website.
