CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!
Ramadan is the month of closeness to God. Allah promises peace in Quran, Surah Al-Qadr (97:5- All peace is that night until the rise of dawn.). Take this opportunity to remember humanity and grief-stricken mankind in your special prayers. Prayers can remove all distress and worries, it grants peace of mind and strengthens the belief. ICYF-ERC announces its Ramadan 2022 Contest “Peace Letter to Allah”. Take this opportunity to communicate to Allah Almighty, by making special prayer(s) for the fellow Muslims and all those who are suffering war calamities around the world.
We invite OIC youth to take this opportunity and make an effort to restore the essence of goodness through their kind gesture of praying for others.

Eligibility for Participation:
The contest is open to all youth aged between 16-36 from OIC member countries.
Timeframe:
Deadline for Submitting Essays is extended until May 1 2022 at 23:59 according to Baku Time (GMT +4).
Announcement of the Winners will be posted on ICYF-ERC Social Media pages
Selection:
The following criteria will be applied during the selection process:
- Based on the tone, wording and spirituality;
- Comprehensiveness and completeness of the letter;
Submission process:
All the letter should be written only in English language, typed in Microsoft Word (based on font: Times New Roman, font size: 14, single spaced, word counts: 400-600) and uploaded in the form of DOC file (https://forms.gle/7Tq9GaV4sWfw3ADb7) or via email ([email protected]) no later than the final day of the deadline.
Note: Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.
Winners and Awards:
In total, there will be 2 winners: the 1st place and the Best Mention. The 1st place winner will receive $300; the Best Mention will receive $100.
