The Holy Qur’an competition is an initiative to encourage youth from OIC member states to participate more in religious activities and promote the literacy in the Qur’an to recite, memorize, and applicate the lessons learned in normal day lives.

Project Objectives:
- Promoting literacy in the Qur’an and encourage its recitation, memorization, and application of its spirit in life;
- Connecting young generation from different countries and be able to see their common points and find their similarities.
- Promoting Islamic Culture in the region;
- Develop the Quranic education in the OIC member states;
- Discovering and Identifying the best reciters among Hafizul-Qur’an of the Holy Qur’an.
Eligible applicants:
- Age between 18-35
- Muslim population of OIC member states
Intented project activities:
- A competition will be announced, as a published post on the ICYF-ERC online platforms, to encourage the participants to submit their videos on the online competition format (designed and prepared beforehand).
- By implementing this competition virtually, the number one target is the accessibility and availability to be reached by a broader audience that they can participate from their country of residence.
- In the prepared registration forum, every candidate should apply by filling in the required information and each candidate should submit a 4-minute recorded video starting with a self-introductory (name, age, country and education) proceeding the reciting of the Holy Qur’an in order to join in the competition. As videos must be submitted within the designated timeline.
WINNERS AWARD:
- 1st place: $300
- 2nd place: $200
- 3rd place: $100
