Model OIC International Relations Academy 2022 to be organized by the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyz Republic, United Youth Organization (UYO), Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan, and Active Volunteers is starting soon.
If you would ask “What is Model OIC?” Why is it needed? We will introduce you to this model! Model of Organization of Islamic Cooperation is an academic simulation of activities of OIC, during which participants will become familiar with current trends in theoretical as well as practical spheres of international relations, and will gain experience through participation in training and seminars on effective communication in the field of diplomacy.
As a result, a simulation conference of the Model OIC will be organized. During the conference, discussions will take place in four committees, in which each participant will be involved in the OIC as an official representative of a member country. Moreover, you will have an opportunity to become a chairman or secretary of one of the participating committees.
Committee 1: Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
Islamic culture and educational priorities in the modern world.
Committee 2: Islamic Commission for Economic Affairs
Agenda: Strengthening economic cooperation among the OIC member states.
Committee 3: Council of Foreign Ministers of OIC
?1. The role of the OIC in modern international relations and world diplomacy.
2. View of the Youth on the modernization of the OIC structures and institutions in the new world order.
Committee 4: Islamic Fund for Science, Technology, and Development
Agenda: Technological development of the Middle East and fight against climate change
In the ModelOIC, participants will have extensive access to engaging information on diplomacy and international cooperation, public speaking, and communication.
