On June 24, 2023, representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan, as well as military attachés, took part in the official visit to Lachin district of Azerbaijan to get acquainted with the restoration and construction works carried out after the liberation from Armenian occupation following the 2020 Second Karabakh War.
The delegation, consisting 60 diplomats and military attaches from 33 countries and representative international organizations, visited the first residential areas and meet with the residents of the city, as well as visited the Flag Square, Heydar Aliyev Street, and Lachin Boulevard, laid on the banks of the Hakari river.
During the visit, diplomats also got acquainted with agro-industrial park under construction and Zabuh village in the Lachin district and the “smart village” of Aghali in Zangilan.
The Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) expresses its gratitude to H.E. Mr. Hikmat Hajiyev and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan for the invitation and organization of the trip.
