On 13 April 2020, “3rd Executive Model OIC” lectures started by the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) in online form due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Model OIC is an academic simulation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that aims to educate participants on current trends in theory and practice of international relations from the perspective of the OIC Member States, to promote OIC as a leading international organization providing knowledge to the participants about OIC itself and its current agenda.
On 13 April 2020, the first Lecturer of the 1st Week Lectures was Mr. Elmaddin Mehdiyev, Director-General of the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) and Mr. Mehdiyev delivered a presentation on the topic of “The Role of International Organizations in Regional Cooperation and Sustainable Development”.
On 15 April 2020, the first Guest Ambassador of the 1st Week Lectures was H.E. Mr. Nasser Abdul Kareem A.Raheem, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Azerbaijan and His Excellency delivered a presentation on the topic of “Glimpses from Palestine and Perspectives for Peace”.
