Activities of Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC
On 29 August, 2022, the Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC Mr. Vusal Gurbanov addressed the Opening Ceremony of diplomatic simulation of Islamic Conference of Youth and Sport Ministers (ICYSM) with the theme: “The Role of Youth Against Social Disparities” and International Youth Panel by the theme: “The Role of Youth Against Social Disparities”.
This program served as an entry-level conference for our MOIC Club Members and introduction to MOIC to the university students of UNIKOM Bandung in particular and representatives of university students in Bandung and West Java Province at large.
The Opening Ceremony was also addressed by Dr. Amar Ahmad, Assistant Deputy at Ministry of Youth amd Sports RI, Mr Tantan Taufik Lubis, ICYF Vice President for Asian Region, Mr. Ary Aprianto, Coordinator at Directorate of International Organization of Developing Countries MoFA RI, Mr. Achyar Al Rasyid, Coordinator of Indonesian Overseas Student Association (PPI Dunia).

On 31 August,2022, the Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC Mr. Vusal Gurbanov delivered an opening speech at the Opening session of an online international platform within the framework of the project “Development and implementation of a set of measures for the prevention of Internet and YouTube addictions and gambling among young people and children” launched by the Youth Wing “Jastar Ruhy” under the “AMANAT” party.
As part of the project, expert and focus group discussions are conducted to prevent and identify regions with a high level of Internet addiction, gambling and cyberbullying among youth and children.
Among the keynote speakers and experts were Mr. Nurzhan Zhetpisbayev, Chairman of the Youth Wing “Jastar Ruhy” under the “AMANAT” party, Mr. Erken Rashidov, Director of the Project Management Department of the NAO “Center for Support of Civil Initiatives”, Ms. Xia Dong, Deputy Secretary General of the All-China Youth Federation, Ms. Alsu Ganeeva, Head of the Selet Media Center (Tatarstan), Ms. Aida Otesin, Lawyer of the Almaty Lawyers Association, and Ms. Yu Xukun, Executive Director of Beijing Children’s Legal Aid and Research Center.
