On 1 March 2024, Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC Mr. Vusal Gurbanov was received by H.E. Mr. Abdullah Mohamed Abdullah Almowed, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting at the Embassy of Kuwait in Baku, Mr. Vusal Gurbanov briefed H.E. Mr. Abdullah Mohamed Abdullah Almowed on the activities of ICYF, in particular its Eurasian Regional Center aimed at providing the necessary opportunities for the development of youth and capacity building as well as enhancing cooperation and solidarity among the youth of the OIC Member States.
In his turn, H.E. the Ambassador shared insights on various matters relating to youth development and discussed the current activities and perspectives for collaboration to increase the participation of youth both, on local and international levels.
Mr. Gurbanov also presented a book “Contributions of the Eurasian Nations to the Islamic Culture”, which is the result of the research conducted by ICYF-ERC, to His Excellency Ambassador.
