On September 11, 2023, the Acting Director General of The Eurasian Regional Center of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC), Mr.Vusal Gurbanov accompanied by ICYF-ERC team members, met with the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Economy of Baku State University, Mr. Lachin Abishov, and Deputy Dean, Mr. Ikram Jabrayilov, to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation and collaboration.
During the meeting, Mr. Vusal Gurbanov shared insights into ICYF’s, in particular, its Eurasian regional Center’s mission, vision, current activities, and ongoing initiatives, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to youth empowerment and regional cooperation.
Moreover, it was highlighted that Baku State University’s local and international students from OIC member states take an active part in the activities of the Center.
The meeting was characterized by a spirit of cooperation and a shared commitment to youth capacity building, the development of diplomacy skills, and education opportunity programs.
Mr. Gurbanov also presented a book “Contributions of the Eurasian Nations to the Islamic Culture”, which is the result of the research conducted by ICYF-ERC, to Mr. Lachin Abishov.
