On 28 December, the ICYF-ERC team held a meeting with the National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Resource Center of Youth Organizations.
Mr. Vusal Gurbanov, Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC, congratulated Mr. Rafael Hajibeyli on the occasion of being elected to the Chair position of the National Assembly of Youth Organizations. Mr. Hajibeyli expressed his gratitude for the congratulations to the management of the Regional Center and noted that the meeting with the first international organization under his leadership took place with ICYF-ERC.
The discussions were comprehensive, exploring various pathways for future collaboration and partnership in the youth sector. Both parties expressed their dedication to nurturing connections that empower the youth and benefit the #SDG17.
Underlining its pivotal role for OIC Youth, the assembly emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation with the Eurasian Regional Center of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC). ICYF-ERC, in turn, appreciated the role of the National Assembly of Youth Organizations as a bridge for youth organizations and its support to many projects.
The parties agreed to hold the next meetings to prepare a road map for the discussion of future projects. Looking ahead, these negotiations lay the groundwork for unique projects and programs that have the potential to positively influence the youth.
