32 years have passed since the armed forces of Armenia brutally exterminated hundreds of civilians in Khojaly. Although the crime is well-documented, Armenia continues to adamantly deny its role in the Khojaly. The Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC), within the framework of the “Justice for Khojaly” International Awareness Campaign, invites youth around the world to be active on social media and actively write under the hashtags #khojaly #recognizetoreconcile #Khojalygenocide #Khojaly32 tomorrow to raise awareness about the most tragic act in Azerbaijan’s history. As Mother Munira Subašić, president of the “Mothers of Srebrenica” Association, declared last year: “There’s no reconciliation without trust, and there is no trust without justice.” We call Armenian leaders to acknowledge this act, ensure all perpetrators are brought to justice, and hand them over to the Azerbaijani authorities.
