During the Model OIC Simulation Conference, organized by ICYF-ERC in partnership with Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan at Grand Europe Hotel Baku, #Azerbaijan, three distinct committee sessions simulating an #OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) session, were held:
“The Sudan Conflict: Potential Threats for the Region and Peace Efforts”, “Solidarity and Safeguard of Muslim Integrity in Disputed Geographies”, and “Policy-making Strategies: Regional Security and Economic Development Prospects”.
At the end of the event, the delegates adopted a resolution comprising of effective solutions to strengthen OIC countries’ meaningful participation in peace and security processes in the conflicted geographies with special regard to Azerbaijan, Kashmir, and Palestine.
Mr. Vusal Gurbanov congratulated the participants on their successful participation, on fruitful discussions, and negotiations regarding the conference topic in the Model OIC Simulation Conference. Based on the performance and debating skills, the jury members evaluated the participants and the most successful ones will receive awards on different nominations.
