National stage of the International Debate Championship of Eurasian Muslim countries on the theme of Heydar Aliyev Oratory School – Kyrgyzstan

On May 14, 2023, the United Youth Organization, in partnership with the Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC) organized “National stage of the International Debate Championship of Eurasian Muslim Countries on the theme of Heydar Aliyev Oratory School – Kyrgyzstan”, as well as with the information support of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy, and the Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan.
At the opening ceremony of the tournament Mr. Askar Toktorbekovich Shaikidinov, Chairman of the Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan, delivered a welcome speech and read a greeting letter on behalf of the Acting Director General of ICYF-ERC Mr. Vusal Gurbanov.
36 teams (72 participants) from all universities of Kyrgyzstan took an active part in the debate tournament. The tournament was held in three qualifying rounds, semifinals and finals.
The closing ceremony was attended by Mr. Tagaev Marat Tolomushevich the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chairman of the Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan Mr. Shaikidinov Askar Toktorbekovich. The winners were awarded cups, diplomas, incentive prizes in cash and books. The participants also received a prize in the nomination “The Best Debator” and “The Best Judge”.

2nd place: Abay Almenbaev, Mark Shvidko
3rd place: Erdan Oskonbaev, Maksat Ormonov.
