The 4th General Assembly of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) was held on 25-26 August 2021, in Istanbul with participation of Ministers and Deputy-Ministers of Youth and Sports from a number of OIC Member States, High-level representatives of the OIC General Secretariat and OIC institutions and delegates from the ICYF member youth organizations.
The opening ceremony started with the recitation from the Holy Quran and continued with opening remarks by distinguished guests. H.E. Taha Ayhan, the President of ICYF (OIC Youth Forum) wholeheartedly welcomed the participants and emphasized the success of the ICYF run projects. He also expressed special thanks to the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan for their active contribution to the ICYF projects and activities. After the opening ceremony, the plenary session started with the chairmanship of the session by Mr. Rasul Omarov, the Director-General of the ICYF. During the sessions different issues, such as Adoption of the reports of activities, amendments to the Charter of ICYF, election of the Arab group Vice-President, adoption of final documents and other businesses were handled.
