On the occasion of 2 February “Azerbaijan National Youth Day”, the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) wholeheartedly congratulates Azerbaijani youth and those working for the youth, at both governmental and non-governmental levels.
By the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the relevant decree of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the former President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the I Forum of Azerbaijani Youth was held on 2 February 1996. The forum was participated by young people from all regions of Azerbaijan. In 1997, the National Leader Heydar Aliyev signed a decree proclaiming the 2 February as the “Azerbaijan National Youth Day”.
Azerbaijani youth has been among the most active and leading in the OIC geography in recent years. ICYF-ERC expresses its gratitude in particular to the Youth and Government of Azerbaijan, as the ICYF’s active supporter, for their warm welcome and efforts to maintain and expand the current cordial relations and beneficial collaboration.
