On the 30th anniversary of the military invasion and vicious killing of civilians in the city of Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan by the forces of the Soviet Army on 20 January 1990, the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF (ICYF-ERC) pays tribute to the bright memory of the Black January martyrs. ICYF-ERC expresses its deep condolences and sympathy to the people and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Day of the Nationwide Sorrow.
The 20th January tragedy is marked in the modern history of brotherly Azerbaijan as the day of heroism and glory as the valiant sons and daughters of Azerbaijan bravely sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom, honour and dignity.
