Eurasian Regional Center of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) is proud to congratulate the brotherly People and Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on its National Day – 101th anniversary of the Republic, the first one in the Muslim world.
Azerbaijan as one of the most successful and flagship countries in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) geography for youth development contributed much to the overall youth development and capacity building within the OIC and beyond.
Among them:
- Hosting of the Founding General Assembly of ICYF in Baku (2004) and continuous support and contribution to its development;
- Hosting of the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF in Baku since 2010, establishment of Islamic Countries Young Entrepreneurs Network (ICYEN) in Baku (2011),
- Hosting of the founding convention of the Global Youth Movement for the Alliance of Civilisations (2011),
- Hosting of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games (2017) – the biggest event in the history of OIC,
- Hosting of the 4th Islamic Conference of Youth and Sports Ministers (2018) and being Chair of this Conference for 2018-2020.
Taking this opportunity, we are honored to thank H.E. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and H.E. Mehriban Əliyeva, the First Vice-President for their continuous support and commitment to betterment and development of youth not only in Azerbaijan but internationally, including the OIC.
