We are deeply grieved by the news of the passing of Mr. Azad Rahimov, Minister of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On behalf of the International Board and the whole staff of the Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF, we express our heartfelt condolences to his family members, friends, colleagues, and staff for this great loss to them and us all.
Minister Azad Rahimov has always spared no effort towards the activities of ICYF and its Eurasian Regional Center. He personally supported and paved the way for the adoption of the first OIC Youth Strategy during the 4th OIC Youth and Sports Conference held in Baku, in 2018. Mr. Azad Rahimov will always be remembered as a noble personality and true friend of not only Azerbaijani youth but also world youth.
May Allah the Almighty have mercy upon his soul and grant him with Jannah.
