The International Board and Staff of the Eurasian Regional Center of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC) express heartfelt condolences to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan for the martyrs who lost their lives, and wish speedy recovery to the injured during the large-scale provocations by the units of the armed forces of Armenia held in the directions of Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin of Azerbaijan-Armenia state border on the night from 12th to 13th September, 2022.
ICYF-ERC strongly condemns the Armenian side and call on the military and political leadership of Armenia to bear all responsibility for the provocation, confrontation and losses.
Armenia continues to pose a threat to the peace and stability in the region by delaying the normalization process with various pretexts, showing a destructive position in the negotiations conducted with international efforts, not withdrawing the Armenian armed forces from the territory of Azerbaijan contrary to the obligations within the framework of tripartite statements and agreements, and recently placing mines produced in Armenia in the territory of Lachin.
